Anthony Fernandez is a freelance photographer born and raised in North London. His early years in a diverse urban environment shaped a lasting interest in culture, craft, and character—elements that continue to inform his work today.
For the past two decades, Anthony has lived and worked in Parma, Italy, where he developed his photographic practice within creative subcultures, particularly skateboarding communities. Initially photographing the movement and energy of skateboarding, his work evolved through surf, street, and landscape photography, refining a disciplined approach to light, texture, and composition.
Today, Anthony’s focus extends to the fine string instrument world, photographing violins, violas, cellos, and double basses with care and precision. Whether documenting crafted objects or dynamic environments, his work is defined by accuracy, restraint, and a strong sense of material presence. Anthony is based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, and works with makers, dealers, and clients who value clarity, detail, and trust.
